GoSUP offer a wide range of Stand up paddleboard activities to suit everyone, from SUP lessons and hire in Marazion & Penzance to SUP surf, SUP tours and Wing foil coaching. Other activities including paddle board based fun games for hen & stag parties and corporate activities. Based in Marazion we are privileged to be able take our lessons and SUP tours around some of Cornwall's most stunning coastline's, so if you're looking for a Cornish SUP adventure, then get in touch. Water safety is always our main priority, our senior instructors and coaches have over 40 years experience of the surrounding coastline and conditions, so you can be assured you are in safe hands at all times. All of our Instructors / coaches are BSUPA & BKSA qualified and fully insured.
Although based in Marazion, we are mobile which gives us lots of flexibility to choose from various locations throughout West Cornwall and the local area to find the most suitable conditions, which in turn will give you the best experience for SUP lessons, tours and SUP surfing.
Our instructors check the weather conditions continuously, monitoring the wind strength / direction and localised ground swell choosing the best possible location vs the days conditions for your activity, which in turn will aid your progression whether you are a total beginner or looking for more advanced coaching
Looking to rent a paddle board? Our paddleboard rental service is ideal if you don't have your own board or are on holiday but still want to paddle. We deliver your SUP to you free of charge, all checked and ready to go with the appropriate safety equipment, just jump on and have fun!! We can deliver your SUP up to a 12 mile radius from our Marazion base.
Wing Foil Hire is also available for Marazion Beach, you can hire wing boards, Hand wings and Foils.
Hire
We personally paddle throughout the year, and if you would like to join us for some company / social, please feel free to contact us. If you don't have your own board we can hire you one for just £10. We regularly paddle the local area, from Marazion, St Michaels Mount, Mousehole Island, Perranuthnoe, Prussia Cove, Praa Sands, Hayle, Gwithian and beyond, usually spotting or accompanied by the odd seal and other marine life.

What we offer.
SUP Lessons
We offer 1hr Taster sessions or the 2hr BSUPA 'Ready to ride' lesson. SUP is relatively easy if taught in suitable conditions. Our BSUPA qualified instructors will teach you how to use the equipment (board & paddle), weather conditions, safety and much more. SUP is a super-accessible sport that gets you out on the ocean in no time. Lessons are usually taken in either Abbey Basin (Penzance Harbour) or Marazion Beach. Please note that anyone under the age of 18 has to be accompanied by a parent or guardian involved in the activity.
SUP Surf Lessons
SUP surfing originated in Hawaii as an off shoot of traditional surfing. Our BSUPA SUP surf coach will teach you how to handle your board in surf, safety for yourself and others and surf etiquette. You will
learn the key fundamentals of how to paddle out in surf, wave selection, positioning for catching waves, foot work and paddle technique for turning. Advanced SUP surf coaching is available for those looking to improve their surfing. One to one lessons are also available. SUP surfing lessons are only recommended for competent paddlers.
SUP Tours
Our guided River & Coastal tours will take you along some of the Westcountry's most stunning and dramatic coastline and inland waterways it has to offer. The stunning Helford River is our location of choice for river tours, taking in the tranquility of this amazing stretch of water, exploring the narrow creeks, and is available to book on set dates. Due to the more diverse weather conditions, the
coastal tours are taken on more short notice. as and when suitable. Both tours are suitable for novice to advanced level paddlers and are 2.5-3hrs. Tours are not suitable for total beginners/first time paddlers.
SUP Hire
Paddle board hire is simple, choose how many boards you want to hire, and how long you want the boards for. You get to use the amazing JP Australia 10'6", all-round paddle boards which will be delivered to your doorstep. Boards are checked and ready to go complete with buoyancy aid, just jump on and have fun!! Board hire is for 3hrs and either in the morning 9.30-12.30 or afternoon 1-4pm. Boards can also be hired on a daily or weekly basis. We deliver up to a 12 mile radius of Marazion. Some of the areas we deliver to are: Penzance, Perranuthnoe, Praa Sands, Hayle, Gwithain (St Ives Bay).
We offer full wing foil coaching for those starting their foiling journey or those that wish to improve their foiling. Our BKSA Wing Foil coach will either help you improve those sluggish areas of progression such as effective pumping onto the foil, gybing and tacking, switch stance and foot changing on foil and riding in waves.
Wingfoil coaching is suitable for those that can already wing surf competently on both tacks.
