Friday provided excellent conditions for Elspeth ‘s technique lesson. Abbey Basin in Penzance was like a millpond and the perfect location. Elspeth is already a very competent paddler, but felt she was lacking in technique. It’s difficult to see your own Paddle form so we use simple video which we can play back during the lesson, most are surprised when they watch it back, as what you think and feel may be right is not necessarily always the case. Amongst paddle technique, kahi turns and step back turns were also drilled and practised, over the 2 hour lesson, progression was clear to see ... well done Elspeth.
