Wing Surf / Foil FAQ's

Q. I want to learn to foil, but I've never used a wing before?

A. We all have to start somewhere, learning to foil is not easy, so a good degree of wing handling is essential. If you are a total newbie to the wing then your journey begins with a non foiling wing surf lesson. Once you are comfortable using the wing sailing both tacks we can then progress you onto foiling, of course peoples ability and balance levels are different so you may only need a few hours wing practice before being able to have a foil lesson.

Q. What Should I bring for my Wing Foil lesson?

A. You will need swimwear, a suitable wetsuit, and a towel or changing robe and warm cloths to change into, as changing is outside. Any medication you are taking, suncream and water on the hotter days. Your own kit if you have chosen this option, all safety equipment is provided (BA & Helmet)
